Don’t be put off by the title of this documentary (borrowed, rather misleadingly, from Nic Roeg’s seminal ’70s sci-fi film) Brian Eno: The Man Who Fell to Earth, 1971-1977, in fact charts the early years of Eno’s music career.

Eno is well known as an art school graduate, founder member of Roxy Music and is often sited as the chief pioneer of ambient music. Through interviews with a range of Eno experts, including his biographer, David Sheppard, this film explains how Eno picked up the baton from John Cage and ran with it – applying an art school sensibility to a pop band, before taking his solo projects into even further experimental depths, thus changing the course of music history.  Watch this film by clicking this link .
