50 x 50 II, an exhibition of fifty new works by fifty emerging artists in a single space, is now on display until 28 February 2017 inside the Prints and Originals Gallery located on the lower floor of the Saatchi Gallery.
In addition to the first fifty limited edition prints, each presenting a unique aesthetic and mood, a further twenty-one prints will be displayed online at the Saatchi Store.
Sixty-six of the works were printed by the Jealous Print Studio in East London, after they called for submissions from artists and designers in the United Kingdom and beyond for the 2016 rendition of their Jealous Needs You programme. Five of the sixty-six Jealous prints were selected by a Saatchi Gallery curator, and five others were exclusively commissioned by the Gallery and released just for the 50 x 50 II exhibition.
Each artwork has been crafted in an edition of only thirty-six prints, all of which are signed, dated and numbered by their respective creators. Every print measures 50 x 70 cm, and for the duration of the exhibition, is available unframed for the price of £95 including VAT.
Take a peek at a handful of the pieces below, head over to the Gallery to gaze at them in person, and perhaps pick a print to hang proudly on your own walls.
