When the Night Falls is a photographic series captured in Paris, which shows the River Seine during the last great flood in June of 2016. The very same locations were re-photographed one year later, demonstrating normal water levels for the summer season.
The selection here of the “before” and “after” stills illustrate the impact that climate disruptions can have on familiar places, and force us to reflect on the implementation of important lifestyle changes that could save future generations from a dark, watery world without any tomorrows…
